Deranged Haunted Attraction has been operating as a professional attraction since 2018. Prior to being in Romulus, Deranged operated as a home haunt yard display for several years in Canton before finding its new home located on five acres.

The driver of a car was traveling too fast for conditions, lost control and crashed into the patrol car, police said. This was the second time in less than two hours that a vehicle crashed into an MSP patrol car while troopers investigated another crash Saturday morning in Metro Detroit. Ashley Daniels has worked in labor and delivery for Ascension Borgess hospital in Kalamazoo for more than a decade. In August, Borgess took steps to cut its nurse midwife staff from seven full-time caregivers down to three. Daniels said she and her colleagues were told last week the hospital would be looking to bring its midwife staff back up to six personnel. There is, however, an online job posting by Ascension to hire at least one certified nurse midwife in Kalamazoo. She heard about Borgess re-expanding its midwifery staff from a hospital nurse, and called it a great move.

SOUTHFIELD, MI – Police are investigating after a man was found dead on a Metro Detroit highway. Troopers from the Michigan State Police Metro South Post responded to the northbound Southfield Freeway ramp to I-96 at 3:30 a.m. on Monday. No shell casings were found at the scene, police said. The freeway was closed while troopers investigated the scene but has since reopened. DETROIT -- Police are investigating after someone fired several shots at another vehicle during a road rage incident in Metro Detroit. Michigan State Police say the incident occurred near the northbound M-39 exit to eastbound I-96 at 6:40 a.m. on Wednesday. The suspect attempted to force the victim off the road with their vehicle, police said, before pulling alongside the victim’s vehicle and firing several shots. The vehicle was struck multiple times, but the victim was not struck or injured, police said. Troopers are investigating the suspect vehicle.
