Remembering 9/11: How do we teach the next generation?
Most Americans who lived through Sept. 11, 2001 remember exactly where they were when they learned about the devastating attacks on the United States.
But for younger generations who don’t remember the heaviness of that day, Sept. 11 isn’t a memory — it’s a history lesson.
To help shed light on how educators are broaching the subject in Michigan, Local 4 was joined on Friday by three Metro Detroit educators.
