Downtown Detroit How does a cinnamon roll pancake sound? How about churro French toast? Located in downtown Detroit on Woodward Avenue, this brunch spot got its name from the department store that used to be right across the street, Hudsons. New favorites include their Churro French Toast which is French toast strips covered in cinnamon sugar with two dipping sauces. Their menu features a long list of specialty pancakes, French toast, and Eggs Benedict.

ANN ARBOR Tom Hackett wasnt planning on getting out of the business he opened in 1978 -- until COVID-19 arrived in Michigan. For decades, people have been lining up down the street to get a taste of the delicious brunch fare and experience the cozy, family style environment Hackett worked hard to establish. My daughter was raised there and she worked as a waitress when she went to college. The way its going to happen is its going to take a long time to get back to normal. Afternoon Delight reopened on Tuesday for carry out, curbside, catering and delivery and Hackett said the adapted business is already going really well.
