'Godzilla vs. Kong'; A heavyweight bout with a light touch
Two years ago, โGodzilla: King of the Monstersโ sounded alarms about climate change. But donโt fret about finding a message amid the mayhem as the towering radioactive lizard clashes with that instantly-recognizable giant ape in "Godzilla vs. Kong," debuting Wednesday. "Itโs about two big guys bashing each other around," laughed actor Rebecca Hall, who plays a researcher studying King Kong. No matter the scene, the actors always knew who was filling the top spots on call sheets during production โ Godzilla and King Kong. And his take on it was, well, if youโre going to go big, go really big.
Bryan Cranston recovers from COVID-19, donates plasma
LOS ANGELES Actor Bryan Cranston said he contracted and recovered from COVID-19 and has donated his plasma because it contains antibodies. The actor best known for playing Walter White on AMC's "Breaking Bad" made the announcement in a video posted to Instagram on Thursday. Cranston, 64, did not say exactly when he got infected with the new coronavirus, but indicated that it was quite early on in the pandemic. Cranston recorded himself inside UCLA Blood & Platelet Center in Los Angeles making the plasma donation. Cranston urged his followers to wear a mask, wash their hands and practice social distancing.
`This Is Us' stars Moore, Hartley co-host Red Nose special
LOS ANGELES This Is Us stars Mandy Moore and Justin Hartley will co-host NBC's Red Nose Day special to raise money and awareness for children in need. Funds raised by this years Red Nose campaign will be directed to help combat the effect of COVID-19 on youngsters and the organizations that aid them. In the pandemic, some of the most vulnerable parts of our population are obviously going to be children, Moore said. Instead, they're part of NosesOn.com, a website to make donations and get a digital Red Nose to share on social media, NBC said. Red Nose Day has raised $200 million annually for programs including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Children's Health Fund and Feeding America.
Kevin Hart is getting love from Hollywood
CNN Video(CNN) - Hollywood is rallying around Kevin Hart as he recovers from a car accident this weekend. Hart and the driver, Jared Black, sustained back injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. "Stop messing with my emotions brother @kevinhart4real," Johnson wrote in caption of a photo of the two of them in a scene from "Jumanji." "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston joined several other stars, including Arsenio Hall and Marlon Wayans who also wished Hart well. Let's all send him positive energy and healing thoughts," Cranston wrote on his official Instagram account.
'Breaking Bad' movie will be released in October

The sequel will pick up shortly after the series finale, which aired six years ago on AMC, and it should answer the cliffhanger "What happened to Jesse Pinkman?" Series creator Vince Gilligan wrote and directed the movie. As the trailer ends, he says, "No way I'm helping you people put Jesse Pinkman back inside a cage."
