DETROIT โ Police are seeking the publicโs help to identify and locate the driver and vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run on Detroitโs east side. According to the Detroit Police Department, the incident occurred at about 9:20 p.m., Friday, in the area of Morang Avenue and Rossiter Street. Police seek missing 13-year-old girl last seen at her Detroit home
DETROIT โ Police are seeking the publicโs help to locate a 13-year-old girl who went missing in Detroit on Tuesday afternoon. Jermila Stokes was last seen at about 7:45 p.m. at her residence in the 9000 block of Morang Avenue, Detroit police said. She left the home and hasnโt been seen or heard from since. The 13-year-old girl was last seen wearing a black coat with brown fur around the hood and gray sweatpants. Woman shot sitting in her livingroom on Detroitโs east side
DETROIT โ Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting on Detroitโs east side. According to authorities, at about 10:45 p.m., a 31-year-old woman was struck by a bullet in the abdomen while she sat in her living room. Police said someone fired shots from outside into the home. 19-year-old shot on Detroitโs east side
DETROIT โ Police are investigating a shooting that occurred just after 7 p.m. Sunday on Detroitโs east side. According to authorities, a 19-year-old man said he and a friend were in a physical altercation with multiple men in the 18600 block of Morang Drive, just south of Seven Mile Road, when an unknown person shot him. Teen dies 1 week after quadruple Detroit shooting
DETROIT Police announced Monday that a teen who was shot during a quadruple shooting on July 19 has died over the weekend. The investigation later identified a man as a suspect in the quadruple shooting. The three men in the suspect vehicle immediately exited the vehicle after the crash. Chief Craig says police now believe at least one of the other two men involved in the chase on July 23 may have been involved in the quadruple shooting on July 19. Police also believe that the man who was shot who was suspected in the quadruple shooting may have been involved in other shootings, including one in Eastpointe.
4 teenagers shot sitting in SUV on Detroits east side
DETROIT Police are investigating after four teenagers were shot Sunday night on Meuse Street, near Morang Avenue. According to authorities, the teens were sitting in the vehicle at about 6:45 p.m. when another vehicle drove up and an occupant started shooting. Two victims, ages 15 and 17, were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The other two, ages 15 and 17, were taken in temporary serious condition. Police: 36-year-old man shot on porch of home on Detroit's east side
DETROIT - A 36-year-old man was shot Tuesday while on the porch of a home on Detroit's east side, police said. The shooting happened at 10:37 p.m. Tuesday in the 10300 block of Britain Street, near Morang Avenue and Cadieux Road, according to authorities. The man was shot in the chest and is in temporary serious condition, officials said. Police said the shot was fired from a vacant house. There's no information about the shooter, according to authorities.
1 dead after overnight shooting on Detroit's east side
DETROIT - Police are investigating a deadly shooting on Detroit's east side that happened overnight Saturday. According to sources, at least one person died in the shooting that happened on Somerset and Casino near Morang Avenue. Police were in the area for at least four hours overnight.
