Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin has filed a lawsuit against his nephew accusing him of extortion, malicious persecution, abuse of law and damages stemming from false allegations that attorneys say cost the singer and actor millions of dollars in lost income.

Between a household with four children, the release of a new single and his debut as host of the Latin Grammys, Ricky Martin hasn't gotten much sleep lately. He is also getting ready to release a new album and go on tour in 2020. All with a newborn (Renn), a 10-month-old baby (Luca) and his 11-year-old twins (Matteo and Valentino.) And as a hands-on dad, he tells The Associated Press he can do it all as long as he's with his family: "Everyone travels to Las Vegas and everyone goes on tour." The 20th annual Latin Grammys will be televised live on Univision from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

(CNN) - Ricky Martin is showing off his beautiful baby girl. The singer, who married artist husband Jwan Yosef in 2017, posted a photo of his 7-month-old daughter, Lucia Martin-Yosef, on Instagram and captioned it, "La luz de mis ojos," Spanish for "the light of my eyes." Yosef shared the photo on his Instagram account as well, writing, "Baby Lucia Martin-Yosef being the LIGHT she is." The couple announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram on New Year's Eve. "We are beyond happy to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Lucia Martin-Yosef," Martin wrote alongside a picture of her tiny hands.
Puerto Rico governor gets resignation letter from chief of staff
(CNN) - The chief of staff for Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rossell has submitted his resignation, effective July 31, according to a letter obtained by CNN. In the letter, Ricardo Llerandi Cruz writes: "The last few days have been extremely difficult for everyone. "This is an opportunity to Puerto Rico to clean house, to start over," said Ediris Rivera, 23. CNN's Leyla Santiago, Rafael Romo and Mayra Cuevas in Puerto Rico and CNN's Tatiana Arias and journalist Florencia Trucco contributed to this report.

Puerto Rico had night of protests, demonstrations
Puerto Rico's Justice Department has issued summonses for everyone involved in a private chat group with Gov. "He needs to know that no one in Puerto Rico wants him," another protester told the crowd. Before reaching the governor's mansion, protesters walked playing tambourines, and banging pots and pans along with some of Puerto Rico's biggest stars. Earlier on Wednesday, Puerto Rico's Justice Department issued summonses for everyone involved in the private chat group with Rossell. He also defended the actions of police and accused protesters of unleashing tear gas and setting fires during demonstrations Monday night.
