The crash was reported by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) at around 5:13 a.m. on Sept. 11 on the Lodge at Wyoming Avenue.
According to Michigan State Police, a semi-truck crashed and spilled about 700 pounds of diesel fuel all over the freeway.
As a result of the spill, three crashes happened and the freeway closed. No injuries were reported, police said.
The 45-year-old driver of the semi-truck did not have a CDL, according to state police.
