Robert โBobbyโ Schornak and Daniel Herendeen, both from Macomb County (Roseville and Chesterfield Township, respectively), traveled to Washington in support of President Donald Trump and got inside the Capitol, according to the FBI. They were charged in Washington with obstructing Congress, violent entry to the Capitol and other crimes. Schornak, 39, and Herendeen, 43, now join three other Michigan men who were charged in Washington. Stabbing suspect arrested after police chase on I-94 in Macomb County
MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. โ A man suspected of stabbing another man was arrested after leading police on a chase on Interstate 94. The incident on Tuesday began in Clinton Township on North Avenue. Police said the man is believed to have stabbed a man multiple times. He was later spotted on 23 Mile Road in Chesterfield Township on and tried to outrun police. A video of the chase obtained by Local 4 showed the man swerving on the shoulder of I-94.
2 killed in crash after car crosses centerline of 23 Mile Road
Police are investigating a crash that killed two people and injured another in Macomb County. According to authorities, the collision happened just before 9 p.m. Wednesday when the driver of a 2005 Cadillac CTS-V lost control on the westbound lanes of 23 Mile Road and drove into the eastbound lanes, striking a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. Police investigating a fatal crash on Nov. 26, 2020. (WDIV)Police said the driver of the Cadillac, 21-year-old David Vasilevski, and its only passenger, 22-year-old Ashley Machuta, were declared dead at the scene. The only occupant of the Dodge was a 19-year-old man from Macomb Township, who was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
