4Warn Weather – Our never-ending winter is about to get even worse.

First, there was the snow, and now there is the cold. Metro Detroit continues to be in a deep freeze as overnight lows will dip below zero in a few cities Monday night.

Tuesday

When you wake up Tuesday morning, wind chills will be as low as -16 degrees.

A Cold Weather Advisory goes into effect at 9 p.m. Monday from the Saginaw Valley up into the thumb, where wind chills will dip as low as -20 degrees below zero.

Tuesday brings a little sunshine, but not enough to warm us up to normal. Highs will be in the teens, and windchills will be below zero for most of the day.

Each day warms by a few degrees this week but is still below normal. We can talk about a couple of chances of light snow at 11 p.m.
