More snow moves into the region tonight into Tuesday Morning leaving another light accumulation (WDIV)

4Warn Weather – After a wintry end of the weekend, we’ve got more winter weather on the way through the overnight hours and early on Tuesday morning.

A developing low-pressure system, which will turn into a nor-easter, is moving south and east of the region overnight tonight and throughout the day on Tuesday.

With temperatures well below freezing and this system having sufficient moisture, we will see snow overnight and into the early part of Tuesday.

Most of the region will see one to possibly two inches of snow, although the further north you go, beyond M-59, those places could see less than an inch by midday on Tuesday.

Once the snow moves out, the rest of the day will be dry, but we will keep the cloud cover around.

High temperatures just below the freezing mark into the low 30s by Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday

We’ve got another chance for snow on the way, looking ahead into Wednesday night.

This is going to be a fast-moving system that will bring snow in just in time for the evening commute on Wednesday and linger into the evening hours.

Daytime highs are expected to warm into the upper 20s, reaching around 30° by Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday

Dry weather sticks around through the end of the week. We will see a little bit of sunshine as we work throughout the day on Thursday, before the clouds increase as we head into the end of the week on Friday.

We are expecting much colder changes to move into the region, looking ahead to the end of the week.

Friday

Another Arctic blast moves in, with overnight lows dropping into the single digits Thursday night into early Friday morning, and daytime highs only into the 20s at the end of the week.

We are expecting wind chills overnight Thursday night and early Friday morning to drop near or below zero in most locations, so plan accordingly as you’re heading out the door early Friday morning.

Weekend forecast

Another chance of snow moves into the region, with an opportunity on Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.

This will work from the north-northwest to the south and east, a typical winter clipper-like system.

Right now, too early to say whether we will see any snow accumulation from this system.

High temperatures heading for right around the freezing mark by Saturday afternoon.

Next week

Dry weather sticks around through the end of the weekend on Sunday and into the start of next week on Monday, but another system looks to move in by Monday afternoon and Monday evening.

Snow is back in the forecast for late Monday night.

High temperatures are expected to remain cold, into the mid to upper-20s by Monday afternoon.
