DETROIT – There’s a chance of snow both days this weekend in Metro Detroit, but our next significant winter storm arrives next week.
We’re likely to get a dusting of snow overnight Friday into Saturday morning, along with a low chance of a freezing drizzle.
Then, Sunday morning, there’s a chance for accumulating snow -- up to an inch total.
But the next round of potentially significant snowfall appears to be heading to Metro Detroit on Tuesday.
That’s still four days out, so the forecast will need some fine-tuning this weekend and into early next week. But it looks like that’s when we could see our next impactful winter weather.
Then, on Wednesday, it looks like we could have a wintry mix. Stay tuned for more on that in the coming days, too.
