DETROIT – Accumulating snow appears to be on its way back to Metro Detroit this weekend, pushing out our brief taste of springlike weather.
After temperatures hit the 50s on Wednesday, they’re dropping back below freezing heading into the weekend.
With that come some snow chances, specifically on Sunday.
Snow could start as early as before daybreak Sunday. It’ll be on and off and could last through the evening.
Metro Detroit could see a half-inch to an inch and a half of snow by the end of the day.
Next week, temperatures will be below average, with highs around 30 degrees. We’ll rebound into the 40s by midweek.
