After showers and thunderstorms rolled through the region late Monday night, and into the overnight, our cold front will move through the region this morning, and dry us out as we work throughout the day. With a little moisture left over, I am keeping the chance of a few rain showers into the forecast on Tuesday morning, but it will not be a washout. Expect cooler temperatures to move in throughout the day as well, high temperatures will head into the upper 70s to around 80° by Tuesday afternoon. Expect breezy winds throughout the day as well behind the cold front, gusts could get as high as 25 MPH as we work throughout the day.

As high pressure builds into the region throughout the day and into the evening hours tonight, expect skies to become mainly clear overnight tonight and into Wednesday morning. Overnight lows, feeling much better as we work into the overnight hours tonight, expect temperatures into the lower 60s in the city, and some upper 50s outside the metro on Wednesday morning.

As high pressure builds into the region, the sunshine will stick around as we look ahead into the rest of the work week through Friday. Temperatures warming up a bit as we work into the second half of the week. Expect high temperatures into the low to mid 80s Thursday and Friday.

Our next chance of showers and thunderstorms works into the region looking ahead into the start of the weekend on Saturday. Cloud cover will move in late Friday night and into Saturday morning, and it will feel a little more humid as well. High temperatures dropping into the lower 80s on Saturday afternoon.

With the frontal boundary moving through the region, we will keep the chance of some rain showers into the forecast looking ahead into the end of the weekend on Sunday. Temperatures running a few degrees cooler by the end of the weekend, expect high temperatures into the lower 80s by Sunday afternoon.

Drier weather moves back into the region looking ahead into the start of next week on Monday. Mostly sunny skies can be expected. High temperatures will warm into the lower 80s by Monday afternoon.
