Inkster apartment residents want answers over hot water issues

INKSTER, Mich. – Residents of Thompson Towers in Inkster said they’ve been living without hot water for weeks.

The issue is causing significant inconveniences and health concerns for residents. They said they’ve received little answers from building management.

“It makes it hard,” said Donna Dowell. “I have to go to a neighbor who has hot water to bathe myself.”

Dowell has resorted to using boiling water from the stove for personal hygiene.

Hank Winchester reached out to building management, who said they are aware of the issue and would have a repair crew come out on Friday, Jan. 3, in an effort to resolve the problems.
