Elissa Slotkin vs. Mike Rogers: Michigan voters decide who takes US Senate seat

Michigan voters will decide if Elissa Slotkin or Mike Rogers will take Michigan U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow’s seat.

Slotkin has been serving in Michigan’s U.S. House District 7 since 2023. She has been a U.S. Representative since 2019. Prior to launching her political campaign, she was a Central Intelligence Agency analyst and Department of Defense official.

Rogers served in Michigan‘s U.S. House District 8 from 2001 to 2015. He served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army through the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps until 1989. Rogers then started his five-year career at the FBI. He entered public service in 1994, running as a Republican for a Michigan Senate seat.
