WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – Voters approved the renewal of the Wayne County Regional Enhancement (RESA) millage.
Funds from the millage will be distributed equally per student to 33 Wayne County school districts and more than 90 eligible public school academies.
Officials said the funds are meant to expand career-technical programs that help prepare students for in-demand careers, hire teachers to reduce class sizes, and strengthen school safety.
