Tickets go on sale this Friday at noon via Ticketmaster.
The tour is called “Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart,” and it coincides with the upcoming election here in the United States. Wonder is hitting cities in swing states and will encourage people to get out and vote come Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The announcement says the tour is a call for “joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war.” Wonder also noted that the tour will offer complimentary tickets “to those in our communities who are already working tirelessly to fix our nation’s broken heart.”
Wonder, who appeared at the Democratic National Convection last month, is only playing in swing states, which is not surprising given how close this upcoming election is.
