Local 4 is teaming up with a charity to help people around the world who need eyeglasses and hearing aids.

The event aimed to spread holiday cheer and provide joy to the children, some of whom chose gifts for their parents instead of themselves.

More than a thousand people attended our CPR training event.

The community’s generosity exceeded all our expectations.

Comfort blankets are provided to newly grieving donor families. They are often the last thing that touches a donor before their organs are procured. The blankets become a touching keepsake for the donor families.

Thank you for your donations to help others working to rebuild. You’ve given them a little more hope for their next chapter.

The event raised more than $15,000 and brought in thousands of socks and towels and hundreds of blankets.

You can chip in to help Metro Detroit children this holiday season by participating in one of our two Toys For Tots toy drives.

The Clean Love Project, founded by Lacey Caterino after witnessing a homeless woman in need, is a nonprofit that assembles hygiene kits for women and girls in Metro Detroit. With over 500 volunteers and partnerships with local shelters, schools, and churches, the project has distributed more than 60,000 kits since 2015 and aims to produce 12,000 more this year.

Detroit Public Schools and the Detroit Auto Show are collaborating for the inaugural Driven by Service Day on January 18, 2025, featuring a clothing drive starting January 10 to support students in need.

Local 4 wants your help in donating any eyeglasses or hearing aids you're no longer using at the OptimEyes in Sterling Heights. So far, generous donors have dropped off more than 8,000 pairs of glasses and 175 hearing aids.
