Movie remakes have become very popular recently, especially classic ones. One example of this is a recently released movie on BET+. “Brewster’s Millions Christmas” is a play on the 1985 Richard Pryor classic “Brewster’s Millions.” One of the actors starring in the film, is Detroiter Bennie Taylor, who stopped by “Live in the D,” to chat about what viewers can expect.
“It’s kind of following the same premise of what the original film was,” Taylor said. He said he’s playing the role of a loving, concerned father who’s hard working, but fell on hard times.
Taylor said he’s grateful to be in a film with many well known actors like China McClain, who starred in Disney’s “Descendants” movies.
“Brewster’s Millions Christmas” is airing on BET+.
