There are only five days left until Christmas day and the start of Hanukah and if you’re still shopping for gifts, the pressure is on. When it comes to the kids, it can be difficult to know what toys may be popular and that’s where The Toy Insider can help. They look at toys year-round, so they know what’s going to be hot. Senior Editor James Zahn appeared on “Live In The D” and talked with host Tati Amare about some great last minute gift ideas.
One thing he touched on is that old is new again. He said Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Bright dolls are popular again, and a good option for kids. “And, there are different characters to collect, especially on the Rainbow Bright side,” said Zahn.
Speaking of dolls, he also brought to life the Pupetronic Real FX Disney Stitch. He has a voice and the head can be moved like the character moves in the animated film “Lilo & Stitch”. “The old school movie is having a big moment right now; There’s a live-action version of this coming out next year, so of course you want to have a little buddy,” said Zahn.
