Go on a culinary tour and get deals on meals in Ann Arbor

Restaurant Week starts this Sunday

A great meal is something every one can enjoy, and starting this Sunday you can get your fill during Ann Arbor Restaurant Week. This event happens twice a year, and more than 40 restaurants are taking part in this event from January 19 through January 24.

“It’s one of the most exciting weeks of the year for food lovers,” said Chad Wiebesick, Executive Director of Public Affairs with Destination Ann Arbor. “Some restaurants are having special menus with pre-fixed pricing, others are offering exclusive dishes, and other restaurants are offering exclusive experiences with chefs, that you can’t find any other time of the year.”

The Pulpo Group has three restaurants taking part in the event including Aventura, Sava’s, and Dixboro Project. Executive Chef Raúl Cob at Aventura and Chef de Cuisine Isaac Wilhem at Dixboro Project appeared on “Live In The D” to share more about what they’re offering.

Dish options include a gazpacho, Mediterranean humus, Croquets with Spanish sausage, mustard, and membrillo, and a sirloin steak with fried leaks and bone marrow mashed potatoes.

Chef Cob with Aventura said, “We are a Spanish restaurant with very traditional food from Spain. Our main dish is the Paella.”

Ann Arbor has an award-winning dining scene and Restaurant Week is your chance to experience the flavor.
