It’s a new NBC show that premieres this weekend that’s supposed to take place in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. In anticipation of “Grosse Pointe Garden Society”, “Live in the D” spoke with a couple of actors from the show.
“The show focuses on four people from all walks of life, who are a part of the Grosse Pointe Garden Society, and they have a deep dark secret,” said actor Ben Rappaport who plays Brett on the show. He said the secret binds them together, and the audience will learn what it is in the first episode.
Anna Sophia Robb, who plays Alice, said there’s constant mystery, throughout every episode. The fictional club, is named after the real-life city of Grosse Pointe, which neither actor said they’ve ever visited, but they hope to one day.
The show premieres Sunday, at 10p.m. on Local 4.
