If traveling to Greece isn’t in your future, no worries, you can celebrate the culture in metro Detroit. You can experience the taste, music, and fun of Greece this weekend at the annual GreekFest.
“We take our culture and showcase it with the food, the dance, the costumes, and our marketplaces,” said Pam Avdoulos, a volunteer with the festival.
She said this weekend’s event is the largest indoor Greek Festival in Michigan, and they will have plenty of activities for the entire family.
The GreekFest is happening Friday through Sunday at St. Constantine Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 36375 Joy Road in Westland.
