Michigan is home to many historical landmarks, one of which is Cranbrook House and Gardens in Bloomfield Hills. To celebrate Women’s History Month, the house is putting on a tea and tours event to highlight the history of the community.
“We have a special tour and what we’re all about doing is honoring women in art here at Cranbrook. George and Ellen were very much supporters of the arts and crafts movement which allowed women to get into art and become commercial,” said Joyce Harding, chair of the Cranbrook Auxiliary Board.
The tour will showcase artwork coming from different women artists out of Cranbrook. The tours are held on both March 15th and the 29th.
