‘It looked like a movie’ -- US Marshals injured in chaotic Warren arrest

WARREN, Mich. – An arrest spiraled out of control in Warren resulting in three U.S. Marshals being injured Friday, March 29.

Michigan State Police said a Fugitive Apprehension Team was making an arrest near the Days Inn near 14 Mile Road at about 11:30 a.m. Three Marshals were reportedly dragged as the suspect, who was wanted on several violent felony warrants, tried to drive away.

The suspect has since been taken into custody.

A witness who was staying at the Days Inn was on a balcony when it unfolded in front of him. The incident resulted in a car slamming into a room at the inn that had two children inside.
