Officials say he was taken to a Metro Detroit hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Fleming is scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday, June 12, at 8:30 a.m. in Macomb County Circuit.

“Today’s no-contest plea brings some measure of closure, but it can never fill the void left by the loss of a precious life,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido. “Our hearts ache for the innocent child whose potential was tragically cut short.”
