STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – There are few Sterling Heights landmarks that are as well known as the controversial golden “Halo” sculpture.

The 35-foot ring resting on the median of Hall Road was unveiled just a few years ago, and has already become a staple of the city’s culture -- though, maybe for the wrong reasons. Some Metro Detroiters, whether lovingly or not, have dubbed it the golden “butthole.”

We’re wondering: How do you feel about the Halo? Do you like it? Hate it? Not care?

Take the poll below!
