Man arrested for string of vehicle thefts in Michigan, Ohio

NOVI, Mich. – A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a string of vehicle thefts across Michigan and Ohio.

According to authorities, James Edward White was taken into custody after a long investigation into several vehicle thefts in Oakland County and 11 other jurisdictions in Michigan and Ohio. He was charged with seven counts of unlawful driving away of an automobile, one count of larceny $1,000.00-$20,000 and one count of running a continuing criminal enterprise.

He remains in custody at the Oakland County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
