WARREN, Mich. – Two women were detained for questioning early Friday morning in connection to a shooting that killed a man in Warren.

The shooting happened in the 11000 block of Paige Avenue just after 2 a.m. on Nov. 8. When officers arrived at the home, a man was found dead in the backyard with gunshot wounds.

It’s unclear how the shooting started, but police believe two women were involved in the incident and left to a house in the 1100 block of Jewett Avenue—a few streets away from the shooting.

The two women barricaded themselves in the home but were eventually detained for questioning.

Investigators are working to find any other suspect involved in the shooting.
