Lincoln High School teacher, 2 parents arraigned in connection with drugs in Warren

WARREN, Mich. – A Lincoln High School teacher and two parents have been arraigned in connection with drugs in Warren.

On Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, Warren police officers said they observed Lincoln High School teacher Christopher Michael Filiccia park at the 7-11 at 12 Mile Road and Schoenherr.

Officials say a truck driven by Deangelo Ramone Daniel parked next to Filiccia, where a brief transaction took place in Daniels' truck before leaving the parking lot in their vehicles.

A traffic stop was conducted on Filiccia where officials said they located drugs.

A traffic stop was conducted on Daniel, who allegedly fled from officers but was eventually taken into custody.

A search warrant was executed at Daniel’s home, where his children live, and police said drugs and firearms were found in the home and accessible to the children.

A final traffic stop was conducted on Racquel Dubose, who lives with Daniel and their children. A stolen firearm was allegedly found in her vehicle.

Filiccia, age 46, was charged with possession of a controlled substance of less than 25 grams, a four-year felony.

He was arraigned in 37 Warren District Court, where bond was set at $5,000 personal bond.

A probable cause hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, at 8:45 a.m.

Daniel, age 42, was charged with:

  • Count 1: Delivery/manufacture of controlled substance 50-449 grams, a 20-year felony
  • Count 2: Receiving and concealing a firearm, a 10-year felony
  • Count 3: Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, a five-year felony
  • Count 4: Delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance less than 50 grams, a 20-year felony
  • Count 5: Assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, a two-year felony
  • Count 6: Felony firearm, a two-year mandatory felony
  • Count 7: Maintaining a drug house, a two-year high court misdemeanor
  • Count 8: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor
  • Count 9: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor
  • Count 10: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor
  • Count 11: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor
  • Count 12: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor

Daniel was arraigned in 37 Warren District Court, where District Court Judge Suzanne Faunce set bond at $200,000 cash/surety. A Probable Cause Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 16, 202,5 at 8:45 a.m. by Warren District Court Judge Steve Bieda.

Dubose, age 35, was charged with:

  • Count 1: Delivery/manufacture of controlled substance 50-449 grams, a 20-year felony
  • Count 2: Delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance less than 50 grams, a 20-year felony
  • Count 3: Receiving and concealing a firearm, a 10-year felony
  • Count 4: Carry a concealed weapon, a five-year felony
  • Count 5: Maintaining a drug house, a two-year high court misdemeanor
  • Count 6: Felony firearm, a two-year mandatory felony
  • Count 7: Felony firearm, a two-year mandatory felony
  • Count 8: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor
  • Count 9: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor
  • Count 10: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor
  • Count 11: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor
  • Count 12: Fourth-degree child abuse, a one-year misdemeanor

Dubose was arraigned in 37 Warren District Court, where bond was set at $50,000 cash/surety.

A Probable Cause Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, at 8:45 a.m.
