Oakland County bakery creates 6-foot-tall cake to celebrate Detroit Lions

Cake depicts Amon-Ra St. Brown’s headstand celebration

ROCHESTER, Mich. – An Oakland County bakery takes the cake with One Pride displaying a 6-foot-tall cake creation depicting Amon-Ra St. Brown’s headstand celebration.

The lifelike cake is in the front display window of The Home Bakery in Rochester.

The bakery’s owner, Heather Tocco, said it took her team roughly 160 hours to create.

“Why did I do it? The lions are on fire,” Tocco said.

The display cake has been an instant hit going viral on social media, including a post from Dan Campbell’s wife.

“The community is reaching out (with) phone calls, they’re stopping in,” Tocco said.

The plan is to keep the cake up for the rest of the season.

“After we bring the Vince Lombardi Trophy home in February, we’ll probably take it down… and at the point, nobody wants to eat that. It’ll be kind of gross.”
