What we know: Search continues for missing Macomb County mother as police recover car in Roseville
The search for a missing Macomb County mother has intensified as her car was found late Tuesday night, and the investigation spans two cities.
Ashley Elkins was last seen on Jan. 2, 2025, when her family saw her leaving her house in Warren at around 8:30 a.m.
According to her phone, her last known location was at her ex-boyfriend’s residence in the 20900 block of Pinehurst Street in Roseville.
What we learned in Na’Ziyah Harris’ disappearance nearly 1 year later
It’s been nearly a year since 13-year-old Na’Ziyah Harris went missing in Detroit’s east side.
Dozens of searches have been conducted since then, but she has never been found. Her case almost went cold until later in the year when Jarvis Butts was arrested in connection to Na’Ziyah’s disappearance. Police began investigating her case as a homicide.

Michigan man who went missing during family gathering found in Frankenmuth river
A missing Michigan man who was last seen during a family gathering in Frankenmuth has been found dead, police said.
Robert Loren Bacon, 52, of Byron, was reported missing to Frankenmuth police on Dec. 30, 2024.
He was last seen at a family get-together at the Bavarian Inn Lodge on Dec. 27.
After five days of extensively searching for Bacon, dive teams found his body in the Cass River near Heritage Park at about 2 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2025.
