Details from a court document describe how police say a woman killed two members of her daughter’s foster family, just feet away from their 9-year-old child, in Washtenaw County.

Testimonies to resume in hearing to decide if man will stand trial in murder of Na’Ziyah Harris

Family of missing Macomb County woman believes she was killed by ex-boyfriend, who’s in custody

According to the Roseville Police Department, the ex-boyfriend of Ashley Elkins, the missing mother of two, has been arrested.

The arrest occurred on Wednesday (Jan. 8) evening, when a family spokesperson said substantial evidence suggested that she was killed.

Officials believed that there was a strong possibility that foul play may have taken place in Elkins’s disappearance, and Elkins’s uncle Maurice Morton all but confirmed the worst for the family.

The 30-year-old mother was last seen leaving her home in Warren around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

Man threatens to shoot workers who caught him stealing Hot Pockets from Wayne County store

A man was arrested for threatening to shoot store employees while trying to steal Hot Pockets, according to court documents.

On Jan. 4, 2025, at around 10 a.m., Daniel Hudson went into a Dollar General in Highland Park and began stuffing Hot Pockets into his pocket.
