DETROIT – The Detroit Auto Show announced it is hosting a special event to celebrate the Lions ahead of their playoff game, and Mike Posner and Detroit Lions alumni will be in attendance.
The “All Roads Lead to Detroit: Celebration of the Detroit Lions at the Detroit Auto Show” rally will be held on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, before the divisional playoff game at Ford Field on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025.
Detroit native and Grammy-nominated artist Mike Posner will perform during the event, and there will be special appearances by Detroit Lions alumni, including Herman Moore, Joique Bell, Cory Schlesinger, Eddie Murray, and TJ Lang.
“The Detroit Lions represent more than just a team; they are a symbol of the grit, strength, and unity that define Detroit,” said Sam Klemet, executive director of the Detroit Auto Show. “We are honored to host this event, uniting fans and the community as we celebrate the Lions’ journey and prepare for an exciting playoff game.”
Fans planning on attending the event are encouraged to wear Detroit Lions gear.
In addition to wearing their Honolulu blue and silver, fans are also encouraged to bring new winter hats, scarves, gloves, and coats to donate to Detroit Public Schools Community District, as part of the auto show’s “Driven by Service” initiative. There will be collection bins for these items inside Huntington Place.
Tickets are $10 each, and attendees will get a free Detroit Auto Show Public Day ticket.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 17, and the event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Grand Riverview Ballroom at Huntington Place. To register for the event, visit the Detroit Auto Show website.
