Wind chills as low as -25 possible in Metro Detroit with polar vortex
A cold weather advisory remains in effect for all of Southeastern Michigan through 12:00 p.m. Wednesday. Wind chill values will drop to between -15° to -25° over the next few days. While during the day on Monday and Tuesday, we could see wind chill values around -10°, this type of dangerously cold temperatures could result in frostbite in less than 30 minutes to exposed skin.
