GENESEE COUNTY, Mich. – A Michigan woman was arrested for allegedly abandoning a puppy in a park porta potty.
Grand Blanc Township police said the puppy, Hank, was found in a porta potty at Creasey Bicentennial Park and may have been abandoned for more than two days.
Officers were later able to reach Hank’s owner, a 25-year-old Grand Blanc woman, who said her landlord did not accept the Pitbull breed.
According to police, the woman didn’t know what to do with Hank, so she left him in a porta potty.
An employee from the company that owns the porta potty found Hank days later freezing cold, with no water and a small bowl of food. Officials noted there was pet urine and feces all over the porta potty.
The Grand Blanc woman was arrested.
Puppy left abandoned for days inside porta potty at Creasy Bicentennial Park. Suspect arrested for animal cruelty. Thank you to the Good Samaritan who found this pup and is still caring for him before it was too late. A big thanks to Grand Blanc Veterinary Hospital for providing the first year of shots to the pup, along with Petsmart and Pets Supplies Plus of Grand Blanc for the puppy food.
