MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – Three suspects have been arrested in connection to a shooting at a mobile home park in Macomb County, officials said. They’re continuing to search for two other suspects.
At 5:48 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, deputies responded to Sheri Drive in the Westbridge Manor mobile home park at Hall and Card roads after receiving reports of shots being fired from a car.
Witnesses told police they saw five suspects allegedly fire shots from a white Cadillac SUV.
The suspects had fled from the car, but two of them, a 20-year-old Detroit woman and a 26-year-old Eastpointe man, went back to the vehicle and were taken into custody without incident, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities say an 18-year-old from Macomb Township was also arrested on an unrelated warrant.
The shots hit multiple homes, with most of them striking one home and a vehicle. No one was injured, according to the sheriff’s office.
During the initial investigation, a Chesterfield Township K9 officer recovered multiple weapons. The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate as they search for other suspects wanted in connection to this crime.
