Beyoncé announced her “Cowboy Carter” tour in social media posts early Sunday ahead of the Grammys, but she won’t be making any stops in Detroit this time around.
The first post was a video of a light-up sign that said “COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025.”
This post was followed by another post with a portrait of the singer with the caption “COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025.”
The news of the tour comes after the artist postponed an announcement that had been scheduled for Jan. 14 due to the wildfires in Los Angeles. When she postponed that update, she also said her nonprofit, BeyGood, was raising funds and had already donated $2.5 million to those impacted by the fires.
While Beyoncé is taking “Cowboy Carter” on tour, Detroit fans will have to travel if they want to see her perform.
The closest city for Michiganders to catch the tour will be Chicago, where she’ll play two shows at Soldier Field.
Beyoncé was last in Detroit when she played at Ford Field as part of her Renaissance World Tour.
