OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A student was sent to the hospital Tuesday morning after being stabbed by another student in Oakland County.
According to authorities, two students got into a fight in a bathroom at Avondale High School in Auburn Hills on Feb. 4, 2025, when a student stabbed another student, a 15-year-old boy.

The alleged stabber, a 16-year-old boy, left the school, and the 15-year-old was sent to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they located the alleged stabber and arrested him. No other students were injured in the stabbing.
The school underwent a lockdown, but Auburn Hills police said the school is now safe and the lockdown was lifted.
Officers are on scene at Avondale High School investigating an assault. The two juvenile males involved have been identified. The school is safe and is lifting the lockdown.
