HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – All great things must come to an end, and Crews Inn in Harrison Township is bidding farewell after nearly fifty years of memories, laughter, and incredible moments.
The Crews Inn has been more than just a restaurant—it has been a place where friends became family, the community gathered, and stories were shared over great food and cold drinks.

When attorneys Gil and Fred Metry, brothers, took ownership of the Crews Inn in the 1970s, they began a journey filled with fun, good food, great people, resilience, passion, and an unwavering commitment to Harrison Township.
Through challenges like the fire in 1978, which closed their doors until December 1980, and the devastating fire in November 1995, which temporarily closed their doors, they rebuilt and reopened stronger than ever in June 1996.
With every setback came a comeback, and the Crews Inn grew into something truly special.
Along the way, their team became family. Jeff Metry dedicated over 30 years across two stints, and Tom Moons contributed an amazing 32 years, including 30 as a partner.
Their dedication and the hard work of so many others helped shape Crews Inn into what it is today.
Above all, Crews Inn has been proud to support the Harrison Township community—because its community has always supported them. Your loyalty, laughter, and memories have made every challenge worth it, and we are forever grateful for each and every one of you.
As they make the difficult decision to sell their beloved restaurant, they are hosting a final Super Bowl Sunday Party.
While it will be bittersweet, they said they hope the community will join them to celebrate their incredible run together.
“Thank you for making Crews Inn a part of your lives—we will miss you all more than words can express. Stay tuned for updates as to our final days and closing. We love this place, The Crews Inn Family “See you tomorrow.”
