OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A semi-truck driver is seriously injured after a crash on I-96 Monday morning.
According to Michigan State Police, a gravel hauler was traveling slow on the right lane of eastbound I-96 near Beck Road on Feb. 10, 2025, at around 7:30 a.m. when it was rear-ended by a semi-truck.

The driver of the gravel hauler told police he was driving slow for traffic congestion and activated his hazard lights.
The semi-truck driver was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.
The driver of the gravel hauler was not injured, said police.
