OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – Check your tickets! A lucky player has one month left to claim a $250,000 Powerball prize from a winning ticket that was sold in Oakland County.

The ticket was from the drawing on March 11, 2024, and matched four white balls and the Powerball drawn: 01-03-07-16-66 PB: 05 to win a $50,000 prize. A power play multiplied the prize to $250,000.

Michigan Lottery officials say the ticket was purchased at the Kroger at 4099 Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Hills.

If the ticket goes unclaimed, the money will go toward the lottery’s School Aid Fund.

This prize must be claimed by 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, as Powerball tickets are good for one year from the drawing date.

The winner should contact the Michigan Lottery at 844-917-6325 to make an appointment to claim their big prize at its headquarters in Lansing.

“I am urging all Michiganders to check any Powerball tickets they have purchased to ensure that they aren’t missing the chance to claim this Powerball prize,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “While I am hoping someone does come forward to claim this prize, if it goes unclaimed it will provide a boost to the Lottery’s School Aid Fund contribution.”
