Insider parents, we want to hear from you!
So many of our stories affect families all over Metro Detroit. Many times, we want to hear from moms, dads, and kids about how certain events, trends, and proposals make you feel, but it can be hard to find that reaction quickly.
We’re inviting local parents who are WDIV Insiders to join the Local 4 Parents Club. What does that mean? First, we’ll create a web page at ClickOnDetroit where you can read and watch stories that affect your families.
Second, if you join the club, you might be invited to participate in stories that become hot topics for parents. For example, school closings, back-to-school challenges, social media concerns, child safety, and many more topics.
Participating in stories could mean you come down to the studio to appear on TV or Local 4+. We want you to share your thoughts and expertise as parents. It could also mean we visit your house to get insight when big news affects our local families.
It’s all voluntary, but we definitely hope you’d be more willing than the average parent to give us your two cents. We want our coverage to reflect what local parents are feeling, but we need your help to do it!

If you haven’t already, sign up to be a WDIV Insider at the top of this page. Then, fill out the form below, which means you agree to be contacted for future stories.
How often would you be called? That depends on the stories we choose and how many parents join the club.
Plus, we’ll have a place for you to share your story ideas, so we know what parents are talking about.
We hope this is a fun way for you to get more involved in local news and your community, while also helping us tell more stories that affect Metro Detroit parents and the people they love.
