Drive-by shooting in Eastpointe injures 2

No suspects arrested

EASTPOINTE, Mich. – Two people are injured after an apparent drive-by shooting in Eastpointe Thursday night.

Police responded to the 17000 block of Sprenger on Feb. 13, 2025, at around 8 p.m. to investigate the shooting. When officers arrived, they noticed there were numerous bullet holes on the outside of the home.

The officers then found a woman with a gunshot wound to her hand and a man with a gunshot wound to his arm.

The two victims were taken to a local hospital for their injuries.

Police believe the suspects targeted the home and that this was not a random act of violence.

The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are working to identify the suspect responsible.
