DETROIT – A Detroit sandwich shop is planning to open its third location in Metro Detroit.
La Pecora Nera, which originally opened in Downtown Detroit in 2017, is opening its third location this year -- this time in Downtown Birmingham.

The Italian sandwich restaurant and cafe opened its second location in Downtown Farmington in 2023.
La Pecora Nera offers traditional and non-traditional sandwiches, salads, coffee, gelato, as well as for-purchase produce, cheeses and other grocery items.
The new Birmingham location will be at 135 Pierce Street, near Townhouse and Toast. An exact opening date was not announced.
