MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – Multiple people were arrested for allegedly stealing over 85 vapes, cigars and donuts from a gas station in Shelby Township early Wednesday morning.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said three men went into the gas station off 21 Mile and Hayes Road on Feb. 19, 2025, just after 3 a.m. and walked through the store isles. They then approached the clerk, and allegedly demanded the clerk to “get in the back.”

The clerk, believing the suspects had a weapon, left the gas station. A short time later, the clerk saw the men leave the store, enter a small white SUV and drive east on 21 Mile.

The sheriff’s office said the items stolen from the gas station include over 85 Breeze vapes, Black and Mild Swisher Select cigars and Hostess donuts.

At around 3:30 a.m. the same day, deputies from the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Chevalier Drive in Westbridge Manor in Macomb Township for a welfare check. The caller reported his girlfriend couldn’t leave the home. He also told authorities the suspects from the gas station robbery were inside the home.

Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the mobile home and saw three small white SUVs outside of the home. Inside the house were three men—a 33-year-old from Clinton Township, a 20-year-old from Macomb Township, an 18-year-old from Arnold, Missouri—and an 18-year-old woman. All were taken into custody.

After further investigation, the sheriff’s office also arrested a juvenile Wednesday evening.
