LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. – A woman was arrested Sunday morning in Livingston County after police found a dead man on top of her.
Green Oak Township police responded to a report about a possible death at a home on Shady Brook Court on March 9, 2025, at around 11 a.m. There, police said they found a woman in bed with an “obviously” dead man on top of her.

After further investigation, police determined the man was struck several times with blunt force in the head and stabbed several times in the chest and back.
The woman was transferred to the University of Michigan Hospital for evaluation while in custody. She was then lodged in the Livingston County Jail.
Police learned the woman and the man were in a long-term relationship and living at the home with their son, who was found unharmed.
The investigation is ongoing.
