DETROIT – This time of year, be on alert for landscaping-related scams. It’s always a good idea to ask for referrals and references. Ask for information about their license and read every line of any potential contract.
Spring scammers are out there. Police recently busted a group of sealcoating scammers. This was a group from out of state preying on people here in our community. They offer a great deal to make your driveway look new but want cash up front. In many cases, they split before doing any work.
