OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – Oakland County police have arrested Wesley Brandus Tabor, 27, who was involved in a multi-county vehicle break-in spree.
The incident occurred on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 9:45 a.m., when the West Bloomfield Township Police Department received multiple reports of vehicles being broken into overnight.

Officials said multiple wallets, personal belongings, credit/debit cards, social security cards, driver’s licenses, and guns were reported stolen.
Police said an investigation led to the 27-year-old, who was known and a resident of Detroit.
Officials said the case was presented to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, which issued a five-count felony arrest warrant for the 27-year-old man.
Police said he was located, taken into custody, and later arraigned on the warrant before a magistrate at the 48th District Court.
The court ordered the bond to be set at $1 million cash or surety, with a no 10% provision.
Tabor was transported to the Oakland County Jail, where he remains.
Officials said they then obtained and executed a residential search warrant on the defendant’s home, along with the vehicle being driven by Tabor at the time of his arrest.
Among the recovered stolen property were 75 credit cards, 12 driver’s licenses, four social security cards, one passport, one credit card reader, two vehicle scanners, 10 wallets, multiple cell phones, and other electronic devices, multiple sets of car keys, one stolen vehicle, two stolen license plates, a large amount of cash, a large number of Michigan Lottery instant tickets, and one stolen firearm.
The 27-year-old is believed to be connected to multiple crimes across various cities and counties within the Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan area. This investigation is ongoing.
