The book is detailed in an exclusive Daily Mail article headlined, “I know where Jimmy Hoffa is and have proof. My dad forced me to keep it secret... but I can’t hide the haunting things I saw any longer.”
“The Last Mob Lawyer: True Stories from the Man Who Defended Some of the Biggest Names in Organized Crime” is written by Hoffa’s attorney, S.M. Chris Franzblau & lawyer Bruce Nagel. The book will be available to purchase on April 8. The book tells the story of a man named Jeff, who is only using his first name for privacy reasons.
In the summer of 1975, Jeff was a recent college graduate working on a building site in New Jersey. While on the job site one day, he was approached by one of his colleagues, who gave him $20 and told him to go to a restaurant the next day and “not be here at lunchtime.“ The next day, Jeff was still working at lunchtime and could not leave.

Jeff recalls a few black Cadillacs pulling up to the job site and removing a body from the trunk of one of the cars. He says the body was wrapped in a white sheet and dumped into a pile of garbage. Afterward, a chemical substance was poured over the body before being covered in dirt.
When everything was over, a foreman for the site went over to Jeff. The man said, “You weren’t supposed to be here,” then asked, “Do you know who that was?” Jeff said he did not know. The man then replied, “That was Jimmy Hoffa.”
When Jeff got home that night, he told his dad what he saw. His dad advised him to keep quiet and never tell anybody.
After some time, he told his best friend, Bruce Nagel, what he saw.
In 2023 during a chance encounter, Jeff met attorney Chris Franzblau. He then told the secret to Franzblau, who represented Jimmy Hoffa in court before his disappearance.
In the book, Franzblau expresses the belief that Jeff’s account is credible.
“The Last Mob Lawyer” by S.M. Chris Franzblau and Bruce Nagel is released on April 8. For more information about the book, head to the Simon and Schuster website.
